I have a thing for rainbows. I mean, who doesn’t? They’re just so pretty! But it does seem somewhat surprising for me. My wardrobe tends to lean more towards black, black, and – you guessed it – black. But I guess I’m a closet colour-lover (is that really something to hide???).
I have a problem with red. Nail polish, that is. The ones I have are all thin, translucent things, that take many coats to gather any semblance of opacity, and even then you can still typically see your smile line. Oh, and that’s not the worst of it. They don’t photograph well. As in, you can try taking thirty shots in different light using different filters on the camera, and only one will turn out remotely close to the original.
What is nail art? Most people would say decorative or elaborate art on nails. Which, technically, is true. But most people forget that just plain nail polish can also be considered nail art. Although typically relegated to swatch posts, plain polish nails can really WOW people.
As far as cliché titles go, this one takes the cake. Sprinkles, cherries, the whole shebang. I know, alright? But I happen to like clichés, so…sorry-not sorry!!
