Okay, so I get the whole complimentary colours, and adjacent colour thing, and, you know, the shades and tones business, but it has never occurred to me to pair green with pink. Ever. I kid you not. Not for an entire nail art. In my mind, these two colours have just never clicked. But when I saw a picture of this nail art, it was simply…perfect.
Naturally, I had to try it.
I recently stumbled across the nail art style of saran wrap. For those who do not hie from America (myself included), saran wrap is otherwise known as cling wrap. You know, that clear sticky stuff you put over food? Yeah, that.
Didn’t think this common household item could be used to make nail art, eh?
It’s not often I look at my nail art and go, “Wow, that’s awesome!” Usually, it takes days for it to grow on me, and sometimes I even grow to dislike my nail art. But this manicure, despite some rather blatant issues in the execution, I loved right from the start.
i just can’t seem to get away from the pink, can I? And for someone who is only learning to like pink in recent years, this is quite a feat! O.o
Ever want a natural look for your nails, but something a little more exciting than just plain polish? Well, here’s a manicure for you! It’s cute, simple, and perfect for both short or long nails ^o^
All it takes is a pale pink polish and a Konad stamp plate.
