Delicate? Methinks So

Delicate? Methinks So 01

An interesting contrast: the smoothest polish job I’ve ever done, coupled with an unintentionally rough sponging…

Don’t you just love the moment nail polish goes on smoothly and perfectly? Well, I do. It happens so rarely, you know. And not typically with a narrow-brush polish. But that’s exactly what happened in this euphoric moment. The Revlon light purple just lay itself out perfectly on my nails. Win!

Of course, the rough dark purple polish then went on to make my netting look…rough

It’s such a shame the cheap dark purple polish didn’t want to cooperate. In hindsight, I should’ve sponged on both colours at the same time; instead, I did the light coats, then sponged on just the dark colour.

Is it the cheapness that gives it such a rough texture?

In good news, the purple polish gave me lovely straightish lines, so I can’t complain ^_^

Delicate enough for you?

The real let down on this nail art is the silver dots. Was it the polish? The dotting? Either way, they are ginormous, and unflattering. It would’ve been nice if I could dot every cross, but the size of these monsters just didn’t allow for it.

But what would the nail art be without the silver?

Rather less delicate, methinks.
