Frosted Pink

Frosted Pink 01

Ever want a natural look for your nails, but something a little more exciting than just plain polish? Well, here’s a manicure for you! It’s cute, simple, and perfect for both short or long nails ^o^

All it takes is a pale pink polish and a Konad stamp plate.

I used Rimmel’s Ethereal nail polish. It’s a soft pink, with flecks of shimmery micro glitter. It probably would work better with a straight colour, but as its name suggests, this polish gives my nails an ethereal look.

Shame it wasn’t thick enough to block out my free edge. There’s nothing worse than seeing the whites of your nails through the polish. So an important thing to remember: find a less translucent colour.

Konad’s stamp plate m60 is perfect for this sweet look. It’s just a simple checkered pattern, but when used with white, and stamped on an angle, this stamp takes on a whole new level.

About time my icky Sally Hansen white came in handy…

In hindsight, I should’ve used a matte top coat, instead of glossy – then it would’ve been a real frosted pink.
